A Q&A-style podcast is perfect for those who shy and nervous in camera or someone who is already comfortable on camera but want a more interactive and engaging video format for their business.Instead of speaking to the camera alone, an interview style setup allows for natural conversation, making it easier to share insights, tell stories, and connect with your audience.
More Engaging & Dynamic . The back and-forth flow keeps things interesting and avoids a scripted feel.
It Brings Out Your Best , A structured Q&A helps you dive deeper into topics without feeling like you have to ‘perform’ for the camera.
Perfect for Authority & Credibility Answering well-crafted questions positions you as an expert in your field.
Great for Social Media & Marketing Short, engaging clips from an interview work brilliantly for content marketing. If you want a relaxed, professional, and interactive video that showcases your personality and expertise, a Q&A podcast is the perfect format.

The more you do the more content you will have for your website & social media.
I’d say if you are making an effort to look fabulous on video start with a booking of 10 ,3 min clips. This will get you going to be seen & heard online, or to update your online presence.
Pending on the subjects you are talking about in your business you could film these monthly/bi monthly or quarterly.
That would give you so much wonderful content to use over every platform.

A checklist isn’t essential, but it’s a great way to stay organised and ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
To make things easier, I’ll go through a small checklist with you before your filming day, covering everything from outfits to key topics and questions you’d like me to ask so that you feel fully prepared.
Here are a few things to consider:
Outfits & Grooming , Plan what you’ll wear and make sure you’ll feel confident on camera with the choice you’ve made
Talking Points – Jot down key topics or messages you want to cover.Any Extras, If you wanted any props or your branding materials have those ready.
But in general, don’t worry, I’ll guide you through everything so you feel comfortable and ready to shine on the day!
-
It’s really up to you.
If you want each episode to have a fresh look, I’d recommend bringing a few outfit changes, as this helps create variety and makes each podcast feel unique. Even small changes, like swapping a jacket, changing accessories, or adjusting your hairstyle, can make a big difference on camera.
But that said, if you prefer a consistent look across all episodes, that works too. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident while recording.
Need advice? I’m happy to help you plan the best approach for your brand and style.

Absolutely!

I’ll guide you through the session to make sure you look confident and natural. Just let me know in advance, and we’ll plan time for both your podcast recording and headshot session all in one booking.

The booking studio time is up to 2 hours.
Plenty of time to relax in the studio, have a chat with me, enjoy a cuppa tea/coffee, make clothing changes if needed, make up & hair touch ups, and if you are nervous this time allows for any retakes that might be needed.
-
If fake tan makes you feel more confident, go for it, however, keep in mind that some tans can appear too warm or uneven on camera, especially under professional lighting.
So if you do decide to have one, I recommend a light, natural-looking tan, making sure it’s evenly applied to avoid any patchiness, especially on the hands.
The key is to feel your best while still looking like your natural self. If you’re unsure, doing a test run before your recording day can help you see how it looks on camera.
Need advice? I’m happy to help you find the best approach for that camera ready look!

Even though a video podcast is all about your message, your visual presentation matters, especially as your episode will be filmed and used for promo clips online & on your website.
Your hair frames your face, when it looks ‘done’ you’ll feel more confident and look more professional on camera.
Frizz, flyaways, or flat hair can be distracting under studio lighting, so a little prep goes a long way.
I recommend a fresh blow-dry, light styling, or a touch-up before recording to ensure you look and feel your best.
Not sure what works best on camera? I’m happy to offer tips to help you feel camera-ready.

Are you struggling to stop saying "umm" on a video? You’re not alone! Those little filler words creep in when we’re thinking, but a natural pause is always better than a distracting "umm."

As a skin specialist of over 30 years, I know how important it is to have your skin looking fresh, healthy, and camera ready.
Studio lighting and high definition cameras pick up every detail, so a little skin prep can make a big difference in how you look and feel on video.
Hydration is Key , Well-moisturised skin looks smoother and more radiant on camera.
Minimal but Effective Makeup, A light, natural look with a matte finish helps avoid shine under studio lights.
Pre-Filming Skin Prep, I can recommend simple skincare tips leading up to your podcast to ensure your skin is glowing on the day.
Book a Facial or Anti-Wrinkle Treatment with me for the ultimate camera ready look. You can book a facial or anti-wrinkle treatment with me a week or so before filming to refresh and rejuvenate your skin.
Professional Touch UpsLooking and feeling your best makes all the difference on camera. With the right preparation, I’ll make sure you’re comfortable, confident, and glowing for your podcast

Choosing the right outfit for your video podcast is key to looking professional, confident.
Think about how you want to come across online, this video represents you and your brand. Ask yourself: If I were meeting a client or customer in person, how would I present myself?
Here are my top tips:
Solid Colours Work Best , Avoid busy patterns or stripes, as they can be distracting on camera. Rich, solid tones like blues, greens, or neutrals tend to look great under studio lighting.
Avoid Pure White & Neon, Bright whites can reflect too much light & make you look bigger than you are, and neons can overpower your skin tone.
Comfort Meets Confidence, Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and like your best self. If you’re constantly adjusting your outfit, it can affect your confidence on screen. I know that from experience!!Layers & Accessories , A well-fitted blazer, a stylish jacket, or subtle accessories can add personality to your look.
Think About your Branding, if your business is already established, consider wearing colours that match your branding. Also make sure you’ve tidied your nails or had a manicure as there is nothing worse than having to hide your hands because they look neglected!
Not sure what works best?
I’ll guide you through it before filming to make sure you look and feel amazing on camera
